Just started in September 2022 is a new idea of having a French Cultural evening. Once a month on a Saturday evening we share in an atmosphere remembering a holiday in France, or even a time of living there.
Whether you speak French fluently, or not at all, we can all join with a taste of selected French cheese and baguette/biscuits, and bring a bottle of wine to share (glasses provided!).
Then the main feature is to watch a classic French film (with English sub-titles).
So far we have watched the film “Manon des Sources” and its sequel “Jean de Florette”, then we watched “Amélie” in November 2022.
Our next dates are January 21st and February 25th 2023.
There is no charge for the film, but a £5 fee per person to cover costs.
